During the Covid-19 pandemic, we’ve been honored to photograph many heroes, essential workers who have braved the virus to help their fellow New Yorkers (and in some case, have come from out of state to help New Yorkers). Sometimes they walk among us disguised as regular civilians, but sometimes they suit up and show the world that they are in fact superheroes.
